WE ARE A BAND. we use beats and synthesizers. its popmusic. it kicks ass anyway. we sound soft. we sound hard. we love to play live. our names are hannes and maik. we're nice guys. we've been friends for 12 years. we are influenced by nostalgia and ruined by cartoons + videogames. we started 11/2007. we are working on our second album and something special for october.

You can almost smell how these two boys grew up and how they spent their youth. After years of playing videogames, watching too much cartoons and listening to a lot of emo-junk on their ipods, Hannes and Maik fell in love with electronic beats and started putting together what their teenage dreams were made of: slaying heartaches with a pumping bassdrum and huge melodies. They're not scared of mixing genres and influences and if you can dance to it somehow, everything will be allright.
Catchy synth-hooklines, timetravelled straight from the eighties, and a voice reminding us of the great indie-heroes from the UK mixed with the throats of early American emobands, forms raveable popmusic with a surprising punk-attitude.

Captain Capa are always on the run - touring, producing and remixing. They often play along their friends from Audiolith-Label like Egotronic, Juri Gagarin, Bratze, Frittenbude or Der Tante Renate, who also produced their debut-album "Tonight Is The Constant".

"Tonight Is The Constant" was released in May 2009 at Cobretti Records and can be seen on iTunes, Amazon, our own shops or your local recordstore.

They've been working with Egotronic and Juri Gagarin and released remixes for Clickclickdecker, Ikaria, Johnny Kasalla, The Deer Tracks and more.
